Discharge:
This design was brought to us by a design firm in MN for a clients t shirt line.  We used a process called discharge which takes the color out of the shirt leaving the raw cotton exposed.  We then added pigment to the discharge base to put the color back into the design.  Leaving a smooth finish that become part of the shirt instead of a regular plastisol which sits on top of the shirt.  We would recommend doing discharge when printing a light color on a dark shirt.
