A day before Hallowe'en, we decided to do a Tank Girl costume. I managed to find most all I needed at two thrift stores.
  The hat is made out of a suede hood from a winter coat, turned backwards and adorned with a variety of junk. There are some bits and pieces from an aeroplane model and the horns were a couple of plastic dinosaur tails. The goggles are swimming goggles.
  She had a bunch of other stuff hanging off her as well. Mostly stuff I found around the house. Also included, but not seen in the photo was a mini Koala bear and a mini Tank Girl looking gun.
  I was quite surprised when we went out at how many people actually knew who she was and would point and screamed "Tank Girl"!
  She would wear the hat months after Hallowe'en.
