This was probably the easiest costume to make. I found a Simplicity Leia pattern. The fabric I chose was heavier than the real deal - but I had the unpredictable Minnesota weather to consider. I found a white leather belt at the Goodwill that had the perfect slight "V'd" down shape I was looking for. I added painted leather squares to it with a rivet and a couple larger washers to represent the disks on the real belt.
  The hair was a store bought Leia wig. It was a pain to find it in her size though, but I eventually did.
  Pictured is also the old Fett costume I made. A fairly decent costume for that time.
