AGE 7 1/2 (2000)

This was another easy costume. The trickiest part was finding a good dress. I ended up finding one that was a good style at a thrift store, but it was the wrong color. I bought it anyway and used it to make a pattern for this one that I ended up making from scratch. The other things I made were the necklace (pearls and a diamond broach) and the Schrafft's pastry bag. The bag is sewn by me out of fabric for durability (she'll use it for her treats). The logo was drawn by me using Illustrator and looking at the very small pastry bag that came with the Holly Golightly 12" doll. I then printed it out onto iron on paper and ironed it on.
I think the trickiest part will be doing her hair up. This picture was taken before Hallowe'en, so her hair hasn't been done up yet. When the time comes, we'll streak it with a temporary dye and try to figure out how to get it up.
